Hey guys! My name Justice! (And I’m here to serve you!)

I have been working at GoGo’s since day one and have loved every moment. I have no prior experience in rolling sushi, but it seemed to come fairly naturally.

I am a recent graduate of Hume-Fogg High School and attend Nashville State Community College. I am majoring in business and hope to one day own a place to call my own. I spend my days working as a server and my nights rolling sushi. I believe that you can learn something from everyone you meet, so I love the diverse group of people that enter our doors daily. I love introducing first timers to our innovative sushi, and seeing them come back time and time again.

Everyone wants to know, “How’s business?” since being featured in The Tennessean, The Nashville Scene, WKRN News station (and of course customer’s word of mouth); things have been picking up! It is so exciting to see Nashvillians be able to come hang out, drink a beer and eat a fresh sushi roll all under one roof (without a 20 minute wait). It is great to be able to see a business grow from day one into something that is original and thriving.

In my spare time I like to… Nap. I love to nap. I hardly ever have spare time, but in the spare time I do have I love to nap. Other than napping  I spend my spare time studying, working out, and cleaning my house. (I have three roommates so there’s always something to clean.)

Hey guys, my name is Tabitha and it’s quite nice to bloggily meet you!

I just started working at GoGo Sushi less than a month ago and needless to say, I’m definitely diggin’ it. Greg, the owner, and my fellow employees are all very down to earth and lovely people to be spending more than a few hours a day with.

So, about me… I just moved here to Nashville on New Year’s Eve with a theme of “new beginnings” and a “fresh start”. I just graduated from Florida State University with a degree in psychology and, although I do love learning, I am LOVING the college-less life!

Since moving here,the question I have been getting most often is, “Why Nashville”?Let’s just say that I tend to be a bit whimsical with the motions and this is the first opportunity that revealed itself. I knew I wanted to get out of Florida as soon as I graduated and BAM, this is where life brought me!

Enough with the big people stuff. To tell you things about me that I consider interesting, I’m 23 years old and was born in Tokyo, Japan and am very fortunate to be able to travel to and from Japan to visit my father and my extended famiry. (No, “famiry” was not a typo.)

I am a self-proclaiming artist and when I’m asked what kind of artist I am, I typically respond with the enthusiastic answer, “An artist of life, duh”!

In general, I love to play.

I love to play with my voice box, drums, visual art, dance,  and, most importantly, my friends.  To say I love music is an understatement. I would say music is a way of life. What a perfect place to be living, right?!

I have a dog named Max who I like to call my significant “other”. He is pretty amazing and makes everyday a good one. I enjoy reading to the Nth degree and can usually be found in an obscure cafe (Ugly Mugs in East Nashville is awesome), sippin’ on some java, and being lost in the literary zone. Speaking of zones, I have a thing for old sci-fi series such as The Twilight Zone and, more importantly, Star Trek. Yes, I am a huge Spock fan. Another random fact about me: I have a passion for studying and practicing Zen, meditation, and pretty much anything Eastern-related (i.e. yoga, holistic healing, etc).

Hello All! I am very excited to start my new position as GoGo Sushi’s Social Media Intern. I will be posting all the latest and greatest that GoGo has to offer. I will also be updating the webpage blog with excerpts from our very own sushi rollers. At GoGo we want our customers to know who we are and what we are all about.

I am a college student, currently enrolled at MTSU, majoring in Business. When I’m not working or at school I enjoy reading, surfing the world wide web, getting my groove on in the car, and chill -axing with my friends. You may notice that our disposables look a little plain or different. From our unbleached sushi baskets to our cups made from corn, we have taken measures to use biodegradable, compostable or recycled products. These products are made from materials that are highly sustainable and reduce the overall carbon footprint.

Another practice we’re proud of is our responsible food sourcing. The fish and seafood we use are farm raised, and we use organic ingredients whenever possible. We also use as many local and seasonal resources as possible designed to reduce the use of high carbon foods through the manufacturing, transportation, preparation, packaging and waste process.
